Introducing Qt CoAP - leveraging C++ and Qt for cross-platform IoT apps CoAP is a specialized web transfer protocol for use with constrained devices and constrained networks in the Internet of Things. It targets small low-powered sensors, switches and other embedded devices, which need to be controlled or supervised remotely. CoAP is based on the wildly successful REST model and from the developer point of view, it feels very much like HTTP. The Qt CoAP module implements the client-side of the protocol. It allows leveraging C++ and Qt, for creating cross-platform CoAP applications. In this webinar, Alex will explain CoAP and its features in detail, how and when to use it, and how it compares to MQTT. SPEAKER: Alex Blasche, Director R&D, The Qt Company
