"The user experience with Qt turned out much better than what our users were used to from Windows Mobile. We released our Android version much earlier than our competitors and gained a lot of market share because of this."

What might sound like the mother of rhetorical questions, is also the mindset behind how Devinco creates their apps.
SpeedyCraft, their firstborn, is a one-stop-order-management-shop that has been going strong for a good decade. It lets you do anything from allocating work orders to field personnel, mobile inventory logistics and digital documentation of field work to control and inspection of service objects.
ViaTracks is an electronic logbook for drivers that features automatic toll logging, driver identification, vehicle map position update, and lots more. It also integrates seamlessly with SpeedyCraft for the full automation combo.
The newest addition, SiteMonitor is aimed at foremen and supervisors of building sites and registers and tracks workers within a virtual perimeter in real-time. SiteMonitor improves communication and safety within a building site and alleviates the administrative burden on overseers.

Another important long-term reason for Qt was that they wanted to keep their options open to deploy to any suitable platform. The two platforms in question at the time were Android and Windows desktop, but adding iOS later turned out to be straightforward.
The user experience with Qt turned out much better than what our users were used to from Windows Mobile. We released our Android version much earlier than our competitors and gained a lot of market share because of this.
